Hoffenheim have announced defender Ermin Bicakcic has signed a new four-year deal keeping him at the club until 2020.
Bicakcic, 26, had entered the final 12 months of the three-year deal he penned when joining from Eintracht Braunschweig in 2014.
The Bosnia international, who featured at the 2014 World Cup, is happy to commit his future after becoming a crucial first-team member.
“I feel very comfortable here,” he told Hoffenheim’s official website, via Get German Football. “I am pleased the trust of those responsible and the coach I see this also as an acknowledgement of my accomplishments.”
In the last three Bundesliga campaigns Bicakcic has completed at least 78 more clearances than any other Hoffenheim player (374).
