Tottenham have finally completed the permanent signing of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille.
The young French winger has been widely tipped with a move to White Hart Lane for the best part of six weeks and on deadline day confirmed his switch to north London.
“We are delighted to announce the signing of Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille,” a statement read on Spurs’ official website.
“The 21-year-old has signed a contract with the Club until 2021 and will wear the number 14 shirt.
“The winger made his senior debut for Ligue 1 side Nantes in the 2013-14 season, appearing eight times. It was the following year that he made a real impact with 32 appearances and two goals before being signed by Marseille in June 2015.
“Known for his speed, he made 41 appearances in all competitions for l’OM last season, scoring 10 times and producing five assists. He was particularly prolific in the Europa League where four of his goals came.
“Nkoudou is a France youth international and has been capped up to U21 level.”
