Tottenham ace to make decision on future at the end of the season
Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker will make a decision on his future at the club amid interest from Manchester City and Manchester United, reports The Daily Telegraph.
Walker has emerged as a top transfer target for Pep Guardiola this summer as the City boss looks to revamp his squad following a hugely disappointing first season in England.
The England international has established himself as the best right-back in the Premier League in the last two seasons and only signed a new five-year deal with Tottenham in September but is reportedly weighing up his future at the club.
Walker has held talks with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino about the plans for the club in the future and the defender was disappointed to have been dropped for their FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea in favour of Kieran Trippier.
The 26-year-old currently earns £70,000-a-week but would receive a much higher salary at one of the Manchester clubs, and Spurs may have to offer Walker a second contract extension in less than 12 months if they reject any bids that come their way for his services in the summer.
Walker is currently the highest rated right-back in the division, featuring in the WhoScored Premier League Team of the Season (7.29).
