Crystal Palace to rival Inter for Manchester United veteran
Inter face competition from Premier League side Crystal Palace for Manchester United full-back Ashley Young, claims The Sun.
Young has entered the final six months of his current United deal and has rejected an offer of a new contract.
The former England international reportedly has his heart set on joining Inter this month but United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reluctant to let him go.
Young looks destined to leave United on a free transfer at the end of the season, with injuries threatening to scupper his chances of leaving in January.
However, it has now emerged Palace manager Roy Hodgson is keen on signing the 34-year-old, having previously worked together with England.
Young has dropped down the pecking order at Old Trafford this season following Aaron Wan-Bissaka's arrival from Palace and the emergence of Brandon Williams at left-back.
The veteran full-back has been limited to just 12 league appearances so far this season and hasn't featured in their last two games amid question marks over his future.
