Paris Saint-Germain have offered right-back Gregory Van der Wiel a new deal, according to L’Equipe.
Van der Wiel, 27, has entered the final six months of his current deal at the Parc des Princes and his future at the club had been in doubt with Serge Aurier firmly ahead of the former Ajax manager in the pecking order.
The Netherlands international has only started in eight league games this season and it remains to be seen whether he will accept the terms offered by PSG.
Despite struggling to feature in Laurent Blanc’s starting XI, only three PSG players have registered more assists in Ligue 1 this season (3). He also enjoyed his best performance of the season (8.64 rating) in PSG's 5-1 win over Angers to earn himself a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Week.
