Arsenal striker wants to leave at any cost, says agent

Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is desperate to leave the Emirates this season after less than 12 months at the club, according to the player’s agent.

Arsene Wenger’s side hi-jacked Everton’s deal for the forward in the summer to land the versatile forward in a deal worth £17.1m from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna.

However, the 28-year-old has struggled to make any impression on the Arsenal manager and is now looking for a way out of the club at the end of the season.

“He hasn’t received any offer yet,” his agent, Rodrigo Fernandez Llovelle told Calciomercato, via Football Italia. “If Lucas leaves London – and he will leave because he’s had no chance with [Arsene] Wenger – he wants to go and play for a big club like Arsenal.

“[AC] Milan is a great club and he likes them very much, even if we’ve never talks with the Rossoneri hierarchy. Look, the truth is that Lucas wants to leave at all costs and is not happy at Arsenal, he hasn’t settled and hasn’t had a chance to play and show what he can do.

“No matter who is the manager in the future, we want to go. The play must have the chance to play.”

The 28-year-old missed nearly a month of the season back in October after picking up an ankle injury in the early rounds of the League Cup but has still only managed two Premier League starts all season.

Despite the fact he has only featured in 17 games across four competitions for Arsenal this season, Perez has still managed to play a direct hand in 10 goals, including five in just 118 minutes of Champions League action.
