Real Madrid are keen for Toni Kroos to sign a new five-year deal keeping him at the club until 2021, according to Marca, via Get German Football.
Kroos, 26, still has four years left to run on his existing deal and there had some doubt about his future at the club after two underwhelming campaigns at Madrid.
However, the Germany international, who was brilliant at Euro 2016, still has a long-term future at the club and Madrid are keen to offer him an improved deal.
Of players to have started at least 30 matches in the last three La Liga campaigns Kroos has the best pass success rate (93.1%).
