AC Milan have moved a step closer to completing the signing of Tottenham defender Emerson Royal, according to Sky in Italy.
The Serie A side are claimed to have improved their offer for the Brazilian full-back following an injury to Alessandro Florenzi during pre-season.
Milan are now expected to agree a deal with Tottenham in the region of €15 million for the 25-year-old.
Emerson joined Spurs from Barcelona in 2021, making 26 league starts in his first season at the club.
The Brazilian was relied upon under ex-Spurs boss Antonio Conte, but has seen game time limited under Ange Postecoglou, with only 11 league starts last term.
Should all go as planned, Milan hope to have the signing of Emerson completed by the end of the week.
