Liverpool are interested in signing Inter midfielder Gary Medel, according to Tuttosport, via AS Chile.
Jurgen Klopp was reportedly impressed with Medel’s performances for Chile in the successful defence of their Copa America title in the summer and has earmarked the former Cardiff midfielder as a potential transfer target.
Inter are suggested to be open to the idea of selling the 28-year-old this summer following two seasons with the Serie A giants.
Only Jorginho (4251) has completed more passes over the past two Serie A seasons than Medel (4055).
