Leverkusen rule out Hernandez sale

Bayer Leverkusen’s sporting director Rudi Voller insists have ruled out the sale of star striker Javier Hernandez this month amid growing interest from Arsenal.

Hernandez, 27, has been in sublime form this season since making the switch from Manchester United over the summer and his performances have courted reported interest from Arsenal.

However, Arsene Wenger would appear to now have to look elsewhere for forward reinforcements this month after Voller ruled out Hernandez’s departure.

“We are not interested in selling Javier to Arsenal or anyone else,” Voller told Sky Germany.
