Roma have entered the race to sign Napoli target and Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The Spanish defender is expected to leave the Reds this summer having lost his starting spot to James Milner and subsequently made just two league starts last season.
The 24-year-old, who signed from Sevilla in 2015, has attracted interest from a host of clubs across the continent, with Napoli thought to be fronting the queue to land Moreno.
However, Roma are set to provide stiff competition for the Spaniard, though Napoli have already seen one bid rejected for Moreno in their attempts to strengthen at the back.
Indeed, it’s thought Liverpool are prepared to listen to offers of around £12m for Moreno, but will only sanction his sale if they can land a replacement.
It’s believed Hull City’s Andrew Robertson is top of manager Jurgen Klopp’s wish list to replace Moreno after Liverpool missed out on Ryan Sessegnon, who recently penned a new deal with Fulham.
