Benzema’s agent rules out Arsenal move

The agent of Karim Benzema insists the France international is ‘1,000 per cent’ staying at Real Madrid amid speculation linking the striker with a move to Arsenal this summer.

Speculation linking Benzema with a move to Arsenal has refused to go away this summer, but Arsene Wenger’s side have seemingly been dealt a crucial blow in their pursuit of the striker following comments made by Benzema’s representatives.

“Karim is very happy at Real Madrid and he will be a Real Madrid player by the end of this transfer window, 1,000 per cent,” his agent, Karim Djaziri, is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

“Karim is not looking to move anywhere this summer.”

The La Liga giants signed the 27-year-old for £35.8m from Lyon in 2009 and since then only four players have scored more goals in La Liga than Benzema (72).
