Tottenham ready eye watering summer move for Premier League pair

Tottenham are eyeing up moves for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez and West Ham centre-back Issa Diop in the summer transfer window, setting the north London side back almost £100m, reports Foot Mercato.

Spurs have struggled in both defence and attack this season, particularly in the wake of Harry Kane's hamstring injury on New Year's Day, with head coach Jose Mourinho targetting the Premier League pair in a bid to strengthen.

Mourinho has been a keen admirer of Diop since his time as Manchester United boss and is eager to see the Frenchman make the move across London, a transfer that would not sit well with West Ham fans.

The 23-year-old has been a first team regular for the Hammers this season, with his form across his 23 league outings yielding a WhoScored rating of 6.70.

Jimenez, meanwhile, has excelled on the back of his move to Wolves from Benfica as the Mexico international goes from strength to strength under Nuno Espirito Santo.

The 28-year-old frontman has scored 13 goals and provided an additional six assists for Wolves this season and his WhoScored rating (7.29) has earned him a spot in the Premier League team of the season so far.

However, Spurs would have to part with around £100m to convince West Ham and Wolves to cash in on two of their prized assets.
