Lyon have confirmed the arrival of Angers midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide in a deal worth a reported €27.5m (£25.3m).
Reine-Adelaide has put pen to paper on a five-year deal running until the summer of 2024 with Lyon.
The former Arsenal midfielder only joined Angers on a permanent deal 12 months ago but has been a revelation in Ligue 1 since the turn of the year.
Lyon have made bolstering their midfield options a priority this summer following the departure of Tanguy Ndombele to Tottenham.
Sylvinho’s side have already signed Thiago Mendes from Ligue 1 rivals Lille and have now prised Reine-Adelaide from another league foe.
The 21-year-old has been a revelation in Ligue 1 since the turn of the year and emerged as arguably Angers’ best player in 2019.
Reine-Adelaide scored and assisted in Angers’ Ligue 1 opener and also completed nine dribbles in their 3-1 win over Bordeaux.
Furthermore, Reine-Adelaide ranks among the top five dribblers in Ligue 1 in 2019 (57).
