Real Madrid are pondering a move for Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante as Zinedine Zidane looks to bolster his squad for next season, according to AS.
Kante, 25, is widely expected to leave the Premier League champions this summer and has attracted interest from a range of Premier League clubs.
However, all could be set to miss out should Madrid step up their interest, with Zidane keen to add competition for Casemiro ahead of a busy season that will see them add World Club Cup football to their already busy schedule.
No player completed more tackles and interceptions last season across Europe’s top five leagues than Kante (331).
