Manchester United sweating on Paul Pogba’s hamstring injury

Manchester United are sweating on scan results for Paul Pogba’s hamstring injury after the midfielder was pictured leaving Old Trafford on crutches last night, reports The Daily Mirror

Pogba, who captained United for the first time against FC Basel on Tuesday night, only lasted 19 minutes before limping off with a suspected hamstring injury.

The France international walked straight down the tunnel to recieve further treatment but Jose Mourinho conceded after the game he was unsure about the seriousness of the injury.

However, Pogba was then seen leaving Old Trafford on crutches, which suggests he could be sidelined for months rather than weeks.

It would be a huge blow for United if scan results reveal their worst fears after making a strong start to the season.
