Borussia Dortmund enter race for £40m-rated Manchester City target
Borussia Dortmund are the latest side to express an interest in signing Crystal Palace starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka, claims The Daily Mail.
Wan-Bissaka has emerged as one of the most sought-after English talents over the last 12 months and is arguably rivalling Trent Alexander-Arnold as the best right-back in the country.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen on the 21-year-old as part of another summer splurge on full-backs.
Wan-Bissaka has also been linked with Manchester United and now the England Under-21 international is attracting interest from Dortmund.
With Lukasz Piszczek turning 34 at the end of the season, Dortmund are on the market for the Pole’s long-term replacement.
Lucien Favre has Achraf Hakimi on loan from Real Madrid, who can play on both flanks, but there are no guarantees Dortmund will keep the Morocco international beyond the end of the current campaign.
Only Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has completed as many tackles as Wan-Bissaka (both 96) in the Premier League this season.
