Atletico Madrid want to offer Yannick Carrasco a new deal to fend off reported interest from Chelsea, reports The Daily Mirror.
Chelsea have reportedly watched Carrasco closely and are interested in making a move for the forward next summer
The 23-year-old has four years remaining on his existing contract that includes a £35m release clause, but Atletico want to increase that in order to prevent Chelsea making a summer move for the Belgium international.
Since the start of last season only Filipe Luis (90) has completed more dribbles for Atletico in La Liga than Carrasco (80).
