West Brom sign West Ham winger Diangana for club-record fee
West Brom have completed the permanent signing of Grady Diangana in a deal worth as much as £18m.
Diangana spent last season on loan at West Brom and played an integral part in their promotion from the Championship.
Slaven Bilic's side have moved to secure Diangana's services on a full-time basis and have handed the winger an five-year deal running until the summer of 2025.
West Ham manager David Moyes was hoping to welcome Diangana back into his plans for next season but the club are struggling to offload other players in his way of first-team football.
The Hammers have therefore opted to cash in on the 22-year-old in a bid to boost their transfer kitty and help Moyes sign new players.
If West Brom end up paying the full £18m then Diangana will become a club-record transfer as things stand.
Diangana scored eight goals and registered six assists in 30 league appearances for West Brom last season.
Moreover, of players that started at least 10 games in the Championship last season, Diangana required the fewest minutes per successful dribble (one every 25.6 minutes of action).
