Manchester United have rekindled their interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to The Sun.
Kane, 22, was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford over the summer and interested has sparked again following United’s recent woes in front of goal.
However, United would likely have to break the British transfer record to land the England international with Spurs desperate not to part ways with their star asset.
The form of captain Wayne Rooney will also be a concern for Louis van Gaal, even if he continues to deny any doubts he has over his star striker.
Kane, on the other hand, looks to have got over his own drought in front of goal after he netted a hat-trick in their 5-1 pounding of Bournemouth in their last outing.
Since the start of last season, only Sergio Aguero (32) has scored more goals in the Premier League than Kane (25).
