Everton have bid £26m for Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Premium Sport, via Football Italia.
Gabbiadini, 25, only joined Napoli from Sampdoria in January 2015 but he has failed to make any impression under Rafa Benitez and now Maurizio Sarri.
Gonzalo Higuain’s summer exit to Juventus has benefited Gabbiadini’s chances of first team football but Everton are still hopeful of securing his signature.
Only three players have been subbed on more in the last three Serie A campaigns than Gabbiadini (33).
