Milan Skriniar has revealed his intentions are to stay at Inter for many years despite on-going speculation linking him with a big money move away.
Inter signed Skriniar from Serie A rivals Sampdoria in the summer in a deal worth a deal worth a reported €18m (£15.8m) and the Slovakia international has been a revelation this season.
Skriniar’s agent revealed in January that Inter rejected a bid worth as much as €65m (£57.2m) from one of Barcelona, Manchester City or Real Madrid and now the 23-year-old has moved to clear up any doubts about his committment to the club.
“I see myself here at Inter for many years,” Football Italia quote the centre-back as saying after Saturday’s 2-0 win over Benevento. “I’ve never said I wanted to leave, just that anything can happen.”
Skriniar is one of only four outfielders that have played in every possible minute of league action for their team in Serie A this season.
He currently features in the WhoScored Serie A Team of the Season (7.29), while no defender has scored more times than Skriniar (4).
