Barcelona are still hoping to cash in on Coutinho this summer as they seek to raise funds to secure the services of the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Neymar, reports Goal.com.
Coutinho is currently on a season-long loan with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich, but the German side have not taken up the opportunity to sign the Brazilian permanently for £70m.
The 27-year-old will return to Barcelona at the end of the season whenever that may be and while Quique Setien has previously praised Coutinho, his future at Camp Nou is anything but secure.
The club's board have already decided they wish to sell Coutinho, who has failed to live up to expectations in Spain following his big money arrival from Liverpool in January 2018.
A return to the Premier League has been mooted and while Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has moved to distance the Reds from a move for Coutinho, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have all been linked with the Brazil international.
Barcelona are aiming to raise in upwards of £120m in order to strengthen elsewhere in the summer and so the sale of Coutinho is key as they pursue their top attacking targets.
Coutinho has scored eight goals and provided six assists for Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season, but has lost his regular starting spot for the Bavarian side following the November appointment of Hansi Flick, who succeeded Niko Kovac at the Allianz Arena.
