RB Leipzig reach agreement with Super Lig’s top rated player
RB Leipzig have moved a step closer to signing Bruma after reaching a verbal agreement with the Galatasaray star, reports BILD, via Get German Football.
The Bundesliga outfit have earmarked the signature of Bruma as a top priority this summer as they gear up for their first ever taste of Champions League football next season.
Bruma has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in the past but now appears on the verge of joining Leipzig, who now just have to agree on a fee with the Turkish giants.
The 22-year-old is expected to cost Leipzig in the region of €12m (£10.5m) and would be a major coup for the Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side.
Bruma has scored 11 goals and registered six assists in 29 appearances for Galatasaray this season, while also completing at least 29 more dribbles than any other player in the Super Lig this term (131).
The Galatasaray attacking midfielder is also by far and away the highest rated player in the Turkish Super Lig (7.70), with Fenerbahce and former Sunderland forward Jeremain Lens his closest rival (7.49).
