Tottenham have supposedly prepared to launch a big money move for Inter striker Mauro Icardi, according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
The Argentine has been attracting interest across the continent, with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal rumoured to be keeping tabs on the player.
However, Spurs are believed to be readying a £38m move for the 23-year-old, who netted 16 league goals last season, the fourth most in Serie A.
Spurs are in the market for a new frontman this summer, with the club still negotiating with AZ Alkmaar over the potential sale of Vincent Janssen.
PSG are keen on the 22-year-old, but it’s thought Janssen has his heart set on a move to White Hart Lane this summer.
It remains to be seen, though, whether a move for Icardi would suggest Spurs have missed out on Janssen or if Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bring both frontmen to north London in order to ease the goalscoring burden on Harry Kane.
