Middlesbrough and Aston Villa in shootout for Premier League winger
Everton winger Yannick Bolasie has offers on the table to join Championship duo Middlesbrough and Aston Villa on a season long-loan deal, claims The Sun.
Bolasie is deemed surplus to requirements at Goodison Park following the arrivals of Bernard and Richarlison earlier this summer.
The DR Congo international was expected to join Middlesbrough where he would reunite with former Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis.
However, it has now emerged that Villa are also in the running to take Bolasie on loan for the season and the 29-year-old has visited both clubs for talks.
Bolasie has until the end of the month to make a decision on his future but is set to decide within the next 24 hours.
Boro desperately want to sign Bolasie after selling star man Adama Traore to Wolves in an £18m deal at the start of the month.
Villa, meanwhile, are also keen on Bolasie after failing to re-sign Robert Snodgrass from West Ham following his successful loan stint last season.
Everton spent £25m to sign Bolasie two years ago but he has not fully recovered from a serious knee injury suffered at the start of 2017.
Since moving to Merseyside, the Toffees have a better win ratio when Bolasie has not started (43.4%) in the Premier League compared to when he has featured from the off (30.4%).
