Tottenham have announced Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new five-year deal worth £25m, keeping him at the club until 2021.
Pochettino, 38, has been heavily linked with a move away from White Hate Lane this season and social media was sent into meltdown when the Argentine was pictured having lunch in London with former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson this week.
Tottenham have enjoyed a tremendous campaign in Pochettino’s second season at the club and ran Leicester close to the Premier League title before fading with three games to go.
Since replacing Tim Sherwood at the start of last season, Pochettino has won 38 of his 75 league matches (50.1%).
