Chelsea could turn attention to Brazilian following Sancho refusal
Barcelona forward Coutinho could end up moving to Chelsea this summer after the Blues were dealt a blow that top target Jadon Sancho would refuse to move to Stamford Bridge, reports Spanish publication Sport.
Sancho was a priority signing for Chelsea, despite their confirmation of Hakim Ziyech's arrival from Ajax.
However, Sancho is believed to be against moving to the London side, though it remains to be seen where the Borussia Dortmund star will end up with interest in the 20-year-old high.
It's seen Chelsea turn their attention to Coutinho, who has struggled for regular game time at Bayern Munich this season.
The Brazil international is on a season-long loan with the Bundesliga side from Barcelona, but Bayern have rejected the option to secure his services permanently.
Barcelona are expected to cash in on Coutinho this summer and a Premier League return has been mooted.
And it may be that Chelsea win the race to sign the 27-year-old, who has struggled for his best form following his dream switch to Barcelona in 2018.
Despite a lack of regular game time in the Bundesliga, Coutinho has still returned a solid WhoScored rating of 7.27 this season.
