Paul Pogba’s agent insists the Juventus midfielder has no chance of joining Barcelona and hinted he could remain at the Serie A champions.
Pogba, 22, has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, as well as other European clubs, over the last 12 months.
However, according to Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, the former Manchester United midfielder will not be joining Barcelona, despite earlier reports suggesting a deal has already been agreed between the clubs.
“Barcelona? If I’m honest, no, because we’d already spoken with them and there was no chance of them buying him,” Raiola told Italian radio programme La politica nel Pallone.
The France international’s performances are starting to reach the level he hit last season. Pogba has been named the WhoScored man of the match in two of his last four matches for Juventus and notched his first league goal in six games when he opened the scoring in the Turin derby on Saturday.
