Palace to discuss Pardew’s future

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish will speak with Alan Pardew to discuss his future at the club following a disastrous 2016, according to The Guardian.

Pardew’s side came out on the losing side in a nine-goal thriller against Swansea at the weekend in which they were 4-3 up with six minutes of normal time remaining.

However, this is just the tip of the iceberg for Pardew. Palace have now lost six games in a row in the Premier League and are only above the bottom three on goal difference.

The 55-year-old is keen to remain in charge and is expected to be in charge when Palace host Southampton at the weekend, although Parish will still discuss the future with Pardew in the next 24 hours.

Palace have only managed five wins in 32 Premier League matches in 2016 and have the worst points per game ratio (0.68), which is the worst rate among any club in England’s top four tiers.
