Southampton eye £20m raid of Everton

Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl wants to reunite with Everton youngster Ademola Lookman in a £20m deal this summer, reports The Independent.

Hasenhuttl worked with Lookman at RB Leipzig during the second half of the 2017/18 campaign and Everton even rejected a £22m offer from the Bundesliga outfit last summer.

Everton wanted Lookman to fulfil his potential at Goodison Park but the 21-year-old failed to break into Marco Silva’s first-team plans this season, making just three league starts.

With Lookman free to leave the Merseyside oufit this summer, Leipzig are expected to rekindle their interest, but will face competition from Premier League duo Bournemouth and Southampton.
