Diego Costa has agreed to stay at Chelsea next season and work under Antonio Conte, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a return to Spain since the start of last season and appeared likely to return to Atletico Madrid just two years after leaving for Chelsea.
However, the 28-year-old has agreed to remain at Stamford Bridge despite the arrival of Michy Batshuayi and Chelsea’s pursuit of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
Only Harry Kane (46) and Sergio Aguero (50) have scored more goals than Costa (32) in the last two Premier League campaigns.
