Spaniard to delay decision over future

Pep Guardiola will delay making a decision about his future until the New Year, reports the Sunday Mirror.

Speculation is beginning to mount over the Spaniard's next move, with his contract at Bayern Munich expiring at the end of the season.

Manchester City and Manchester United are keen to bring Guardiola to Manchester, with both Manuel Pellegrini and Louis van Gaal fearful over their long-term futures at their respective clubs.

However, the Premier League pair may be forced to fret a little longer, with the current Bayern boss delaying any announcement until early 2016.

Nonetheless, Bayern have begun to draw up a list of possible replacements as a contingency plan, with former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti topping any shortlist.
