Barcelona will offer out of favour midfielder Rafinha to Arsenal as part of a deal for Hector Bellerin, reports Spanish publication Marca.
The La Liga giants are keen to bring Bellerin back to Spain this summer, though Arsenal are understandably reluctant to cash in on the right-back.
However, Barcelona will look to force the Premier League side’s hand by using Rafinha as a bargaining chip in their bid to sign the 22-year-old.
The Brazilian made just 14 league starts for Barcelona last season, though managed to net six goals and register a further two assists.
His versatility would be an added bonus to manager Arsene Wenger, with Rafinha able to play in midfield and on the right wing.
Barcelona are keen to secure a new right-back this summer, with Aleix Vidal and Sergi Roberto both flattering to deceive for the La Liga giants last season.
Arsenal have been credited with an interest in Rafinha in the past, which improves Barcelona’s chances of luring Bellerin back to Spain.
Que? This makes no sense. Why would we want him?
