Kevin De Bruyne has admitted he rejected the chance to sign for PSG to instead move to Manchester City last summer.
The Belgian has been a revelation for the Citizens since signing from Wolfsburg and recently starred in their 4-0 win over Bournemouth following his return from injury.
And prior to City's Champions League meeting with PSG in Paris, the Belgium international has revealed he came close to moving to the French champions.
“There were contacts with PSG. We have talked a bit, but afterwards I decided to join Manchester City, as they were a better option,” he's quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.
“I’m really happy that I’ve taken the right decision. My family are happy here, I’m happy. All goes well. It was a personal choice."
De Bruyne has impressed for his new team this term, averaging more key passes (3.5) than any City player.

A revelation? what was he before? Pretty sure anything less than what he's done would be a disappointment, given how much he cost and what he accomplished last year.
