Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann has earmarked the signature of Werder Bremen star Serge Gnabry as one of his top transfer targets in the summer, reports Kicker.
Gnabry, 21, only joined Bremen from Arsenal last summer but has enjoyed a thoroughly impressive campaign for the Bundesliga strugglers this season and is already been linked with bigger and better things.
The Germany international reportedly has an agreement with Bayern Munich that gives Carlo Ancelotti’s side the first option to sign him in the summer but Hoffenheim would almost certainly provide the youngster with greater playing time.
Hoffenheim have made huge striders under Nagelsmann and are now a hugely attractive proposition compared to recent times, with European football all but guaranteed next season.
Of players aged 21 and under in Europe’s top five leagues this season, only Dele Alli, Timo Werner (both 14) and Kylian Mbappe (12) have scored more goals than Gnabry (10).
