LA Galaxy midfielder Steven Gerrard has spoken to League One side MK Dons about their vacant manager’s job, according to BBC Sport.
The MLS outfit have already confirmed Gerrard will leave when his contract expires in December but it remains to be seen whether the former Liverpool captain will continue playing or retire and turn his hand at managing.
MK Dons have been without a manager since departing with former boss Karl Robinson at the end of October and are reportedly considering a number of options, including Gerrard.
Gerrard’s former England teammate Frank Lampard has also been touted with the job, although those rumours aren’t believed to be true, whereas Gerrard has actually spoken to the club.
The Dons have failed to win any of their last six league games and currently occupy the final relegation spot in League One, two points adrift of safety.
