Arsenal Team News: Alexis left out of squad to face Bournemouth
Alexis Sanchez has been left out of Arsenal’s squad for today’s meeting with Bournemouth, reports the Guardian.
The Chilean forward is edging closer to an Emirates Stadium exit, with Manchester United and Manchester City fighting to secure his services, while Liverpool are also a rumoured interested party.
Alexis has looked set to reunite with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, but the Premier League leaders have dropped behind Manchester United in the race to sign the 29-year-old.
City almost landed the Chile international back in the summer, yet failed in their attempts to sign Alexis or £60m as Arsenal were unable to secure a replacement.
United now lead the race for Alexis, with it reported the forward has had his head turned with a more lucrative package in order to move to Old Trafford.
Any move for Alexis could now see Henrikh Mkhitaryan move to Arsenal, with the Armenian a target for Arsene Wenger.

It now seems as though Alexis’ substitute appearance in Arsenal’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup in midweek was his last for the north London side.
