Tottenham and Arsenal target delivers blow as Juventus deal nears

Patrik Schick has told Czech press that a move to Juventus could be completed ahead of the weekend amidst interest from the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal, Gazzetta dello Sport report.

The 21-year-old striker is currently on international duty and spoke to broadcaster Isport.Blesk on a potential switch to the Serie A champions, stating: "It is possible that there’s an agreement before the match against Norway on Saturday. But still, it is difficult to say. it's all under negotiation, there are still other options."

After a fantastic debut season in Italy’s top-flight with Sampdoria, Juve are expected to trigger the youngster’s €25m release clause, a fact that had alerted the attentions of a number of top Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and Arsenal.

Schick netted 11 league goals last season, which was a fine return considering 18 of his 32 appearances came as a substitute. Only Giovanni Simeone (12) scored more of players aged 21 and under in Serie A.
