Liverpool are preparing to raid Serie A side Torino for key striker Andrea Belotti, reports Italian publication CalcioMercatoWeb.
The 22-year-old has been in fine form in Italy’s top tier this term, netting five goals for the Turin outfit.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Belotti, but Liverpool are hoping to pip their Premier League rivals to his signature and are readying a £19.5m bid for the frontman.
Belotti’s contract with Torino runs until 2020, so they are under no pressure to sell at this point in time, but Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has identified the striker as a man to improve his striking options.
