PSG vs Real Madrid Confirmed XIs: Key winger dropped for visitors

Gareth Bale has been dropped by head coach Zinedine Zidane for Real Madrid’s Champions League meeting with PSG.

Bale started the 3-1 win over Getafe at the weekend, and netted in the victory, but he starts on the bench at the Parc des Princes, as does Isco, with Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio providing the width for the European champions.

Elsewhere, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos both aren’t fit enough to start for Real Madrid and make the bench, meaning Mateo Kovacic features alongside Casemiro in the middle of the park from the off.

For PSG, Yuri has been given the nod ahead of Layvin Kurzawa at left-back, with Kurzawa left out of the squad altogether.

Yuri comes in to make his second Champions League appearance of the season, with his first coming in the first leg 3-1 loss to Real Madrid.

In midfield, Thiago Motta is given the nod ahead of Lassana Diarra and Giovani Lo Celso, with Adrien Rabiot and Marco Verratti completing the midfield.

As expected, Angel Di Maria deputises for the injured Neymar, with the Argentine looking to prove a point against his former employers.
