Leicester want Aston Villa ace Jack Grealish

Leicester will make a £20m move for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish if Steve Bruce’s side fail to gain promotion to the Premier League this season, reports The Daily Mirror.

Grealish finally looks to have put his off-field problems behind him and is currently inspiring Villa’s promotion push to the Premier League.

Villa have already guaranteed a place in the play-offs but still have a slight chance of finishing in the automatic promotion places.

Bruce’s side are currently fourth and trail second place Cardiff by four points with three games of the regular season left to play.

Grealish will almost certainly want to stay with his boyhood club if they are promoted to the Premier League but Leicester are waiting in the wings if Villa fail.

The Foxes are bracing themselves for renewed interest in Riyad Mahrez at the end of the season and may have identified Grealish as the ideal replacement for the Algeria international.

Grealish has played a direct hand in eight goals in 24 Championship appearances this season, including in each of his last three appearances.
