Tottenham agree £25m deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger

Tottenham are on the verge of making their first signing of 2018 after agreeing a £25m deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Lucas Moura, claims Sky Sports.

Moura was transfer listed by Unai Emery at the start of the year after dropping down the pecking order at the club this season.

PSG are looking to recoup some of their investment from the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe and Moura is the first player that will be shown the door.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with moves to Manchester United and Arsenal already this month but neither side firmed up their interest to allow Tottenham a free run at his signature.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were hopeful of securing Moura’s services on an initial loan deal but have agreed to meet PSG’s demands and now only the finer details need to be ironed out before the switch is complete.

The Brazil international must now agree personal terms with Tottenham and also undergo a medical, but Pochettino’s side do not anticipate any problems before Wednesday’s deadline.

In the last four Ligue 1 campaigns, only one player has completed more dribbles than Moura (264), despite the fact the PSG No.7 has been limited to just five substitute appearances this season.
