Paris Saint-Germain ready huge offer for Real Madrid midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain want to prise Casemiro away from Real Madrid and are prepared to table a huge bid to land him, claims AS.
Thiago Motta turns 36 at the start of next season and PSG are keen to sign a long-term replacement for the defensive midfielder.
PSG signed Lass Diarra in January to ease the burden on Motta but the former Madrid midfielder turned 33 last month.
Antero Henrique, the club’s sporting director, is keen to reunite with Casemiro at PSG after working with the Brazil international for a time at Porto.
The 25-year-old still has three years remaining on his current Madrid deal that contains a €200m (£172.7m) release clause, but there are suggestions he could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Neymar.
Known for his defensive qualities, Casemiro is enjoying his most prolific campaign to date.
The Brazilian has scored or assisted eight goals in the league thus far, twice as many as he has previously managed in a single campaign.
Would be a surprise if Madrid let this deal happen
