Inter are considering a summer move for Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen, reports Italian publication Tuttosport via SempreInter.
The Belgian is out of contract in the summer and Spurs have made no real push to tie the experienced centre-back down to a new deal in north London.
Vertonghen played left-back for Spurs at Burnley on Saturday evening, but that was just his fifth Premier League start of 2020 with the 32-year-old struggling to hold down a regular starting spot following Jose Mourinho's November appointment.
Vertonghen is good friends with Inter striker Romelu Lukaku, which could play a key role in the defender following Christian Eriksen from London to Milan.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is eager to strengthen his defence as rumours of Milan Skriniar's future continue to circulate.
Vertonghen is comfortable in a three-man defence, which appeals to Conte as the Italian looks to make another raid of the Premier League.
In recent months, Inter have secured the services of Lukaku, Eriksen and Ashley Young, with the move from England to the Nerazzuri and appealing path to take of late.
