Tottenham are believed to be tracking former Liverpool winger Suso, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Spaniard left Merseyside for AC Milan permanently two years ago and has impressed in Serie A after failing to make an impact for the Reds.
His stock has risen since his move to Italy, with his performances attracting interest from Spurs.
Suso’s contract has just two years left to run and there are no immediate plans to open negotiations to extend his stay in San Siro.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to strengthen in wide areas at the end of the season, with Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Moussa Sissoko flattering to deceive following their respective summer arrivals.
Wilfried Zaha has also been linked with a switch to White Hart Lane, but Pochettino may instead look to Suso as a potentially cheaper alternative to the Crystal Palace wideman.
The 23-year-old has six goals and seven assists to his name from 27 league appearances this season to return a WhoScored rating of 7.21.
