Paris Saint-Germain have been crowned Ligue 1 champions in the quickest time in French football history after thrashing Troyes 9-0 on Sunday.
Laurent Blanc’s side were given the chance to wrap up their fourth straight title after Monaco failed to beat Caen on Friday and a four-goal haul from Ibrahimovic allowed them to take full advantage.
Their 24th win of the season in 30 league matches also meant they clinched the league in the quickest-ever time, beating Lyon’s record previously set in 2007 when they were crowned champions after 33 matches.
