Barcelona’s search for a fourth striker is on the verge of conclusion after reaching an agreement with Sevilla to sign Kevin Gameiro, claims Spanish newspaper Sport.
Gameiro, 29, has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer but Sevilla’s valuation looked to have scared the La Liga champions off.
Atletico Madrid striker Luciano Vietto looked the most likely player to join Barcelona but it now appears he will join Sevilla as Gameiro’s replacement.
Gameiro was integral behind Sevilla’s second defence of their Europa League title, finishing the competition with eight goals from nine matches.
