Nice have appointed former Gladbach manager Lucien Favre as their new manager on a three-year deal, according to RMC, via Get French Football.
The Ligue 1 outfit have moved quickly to get a manager for next season sorted after it became known that current manager Claude Puel would not be extending his stay beyond the end of the season.
Favre, 58, resigned as Gladbach boss at the start of the season following four years at the club after the Bundesliga side opened up their league campaign with five straight defeats.
The Swiss manager saved Gladbach from relegation when he took over in 2011 before leading them to the Champions League for the first time in their history last season.
Nice finished the season above expectations in Ligue 1 and will welcome Europa League football to the Allianz Riviera next season after their fourth place finish, although that was mainly thanks to Hatem Ben Arfa, who is expected to leave in the summer.
Only Paris Saint-Germain (102) and Lyon (67) scored more goals in Ligue 1 this season than Nice (58).
