Arsenal are in competition with Tottenham in the race to sign Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic, according to Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Vlahovic is a wanted man among Europe's elite sides following a breakout season that saw him score 21 times for a Fiorentina side that finished 14th in 2020/21.
The Viola are keen to retain the youngster's services and are looking to tie the Serbian striker down to a new deal in Florence.
Indeed, Vlahovic's current deal runs until 2023 and the Serie A side will accept nothing less than €60m for the 21-year-old should they decide to sell.
Arsenal are in the market for another striker and have been linked with a move for Inter's Lautaro Martinez, though Spurs reportedly agreed a fee with the Italian champions for the Argentine over the weekend.
Spurs may make a move for Vlahovic should they sell Harry Kane, who is on Manchester City's radar as a replacement for Sergio Aguero after his contract expired and he departed for Barcelona.
Inter are reported to have had a bid for Vlahovic rejected last week as they eye up potential replacements for Chelsea-bound Romelu Lukaku.
We need this signing whether or not Kane leaves although Levy is leaving it too late now to sell Kane, the deal should have been done weeks ago and a deadline put on his sale forcing City to deal if they really want him.
